Jay has been involved in the surveying profession for over 35 years, beginning his career in the Nebraska National Guard as a field artillery surveyor. Since then he has worked in Nebraska, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, and Idaho.

Jay's wide range of experience includes all manners of boundary retracement, lot surveys, subdivisions, new plats, railroad layout and retracement, and even hydrographic surveying.

Returning home in 2007 to be closer to Husker football, Jay has worked hard to provide Custer County and surrounding areas with the best services available, always looking for better ways or equipment to accomplish the client's goals.

Reopening of Stampede Pass

Surveying included 40 miles of new track and rebuilding of snow sheds at both ends of the 2 mile long summit tunnel. Washington State, August 1996
